Step into the story of you. Discover how Judaism views each life as an ongoing narrative, with each chapter uniquely your own. Together, you and your mentor will start building a connection as you explore the insights and tools to help you author the life you want to live.
Stage 2
Connect with your past, present, future
Zoom out and see your life from a bird’s-eye view. You’ll explore the bigger picture of your life, tracing the connections between where you come from, where you are, and where you want to go. Your mentor will help you find strength in your roots and clarity in your goals as you map out the path ahead.
Stage 3
Discover your unique purpose
What makes you, you? Unlock the essence of who you are—your strengths, individuality, and purpose. This session deepens your relationship with your mentor as they support you in recognizing your potential and developing a clearer sense of self-worth.

Echoes of the past – learning from legacy
Discover the power of your roots. Knowing where you come from can be a source of strength and resilience. Together you’ll explore the stories and lessons of those who came before you, and how their journeys can inform your own. In collaboration with your mentor, you will draw wisdom from the past to better equip you for life’s challenges.

Chart your own course with your mentor’s guidance. What does a meaningful life look like to you? You’ll explore values and decisions that lead to true fulfilment. Drawing on ancient wisdom, you will identify paths to success that align with who you are and who you want to become.

Your values are the foundation of every decision. Reflect on what matters most and gain tools to make choices that align with the person you want to become. Your mentor will help you translate timeless Jewish teachings into actionable insights for your life.

As the introductory course comes to a close, you and your mentor have developed a meaningful connection. Why mentorship?
Even the most successful people have mentors who contribute to their growth. The goal of the Olami mentorship community is to connect you with someone who has walked the path before you and can offer guidance and support as you navigate your own growth journey, personally and professionally.
Olami Mentorship focuses on the full 360 of your life so no topic is off limits. Your personalized mentor is here to help you identify and achieve your goals.
Who can get an Olami mentor?
Mentorship is available to growth oriented Jewish college students and young professionals who want to explore personal and professional growth in the context of their Jewish values and identity.
What will I discuss with my mentor?
We have curated content for your initial 10 weekly sessions to help you and your mentor really get to know each other. It’s deep, it’s meaningful, it’s thought provoking and insightful. We’re offering you an opportunity to focus on your personal identity, set goals for the future, and consider the values that guide your choices along your journey.

When and how will I meet with my mentor?
We’ll introduce you along with Kayla, our AI Agent who will help you schedule your meetings and send you calendar invites and links to your meetings.
You can meet in person or online – whatever works for you – for 30 minutes once a week. Our mentorship program includes an initial 10 weeks of sessions complemented by local mentorship events. We hope the weekly sessions and events will set the foundation for a more long-term, meaningful relationship with your mentor.
Who are Olami mentors?
Our mentors are professionals from across multiple industries with real life experience that offer meaningful conversation, authentic connection and personal growth. Our mentors are volunteers, generously giving of their time to build a meaningful connection with you.
How will I be matched with a mentor?
We take mentor matching very seriously! Your mentor will be carefully chosen based on your industry and interests – and what you have told us in your interview.
When does my mentorship journey begin?
Application → Interview → Acceptance → Payment → Mentor Match
Once you have been matched, we’ll introduce you along with Kayla, our AI Agent who will help you schedule your meetings and send you calendar invites and links to your meetings. Your exact scheduling is dependent on what works for you and your mentor.
I want to apply, what’s next?
The program has a one-time membership fee of $100, which includes access to your own carefully matched personal mentor for 10 mentorship sessions and exclusive invitations to mentorship events.
We never want payment to be a barrier to participation. Payment plans and scholarships available.
